Description
A transfer function approach was used to study the dynamic characteristics of an air-temperature control loop, in an HVAC system, subject to various disturbances. The simplest possible models for loop components were selected from the literature and used in this study. The feasibility of integral control was also investigated. Theoretical results were compared with experiments and conclusions drawn. The paper ends with some recommendations for future work.
