3364 — A Correlation for Metastable Flow of Refrigerant 12 through Capillary Tubes

Original price was: $15.00.Current price is: $7.50.

Conference Proceeding by ASHRAE, 1990

Category:

Description

The metastable flow phenomenon of R12 through two capillary tubes was experimentally investigated. A method utilising the classic nucleation theory to predict the heterogeneous nucleation of refrigerant flowing through capillary tubes was developed. A correlation for the determination of the pressure difference between the thermodynamic saturated point and the point of the inception of vaporisation was established.
