Description
The response-coefficient method can be used to find long-time solutions to heat-conduction transients with time-dependent input forcing functions. The method is economical and applicable to a wide variety of problems. Applications of the method to one-and two-dimensional heat-conduction problems are discussed in this paper. A two-dimensional illustrative example of an underground energy-storage tank is included.
