Aisle containment is one of the most commonenergy-efficiency strategies deployed in data centers, both new and existing. But,these systems also introduce hazards related to fire protection when notproperly implemented. This column outlines some historical context and explainsthe new National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requirements for aislecontainment fire protection.
