Unidirectional (“laminar”) flows are often employed in cleanrooms,hospital operating rooms, laboratories, and similar other spaces where highlevel of cleanliness is desired. Research indicates that that using CFDanalysis can help with situations where certain types of diffusers cansignificantly affect the directionality of laminar flow and entrainment from thesurrounding air.
