Description
Steady-state data on the performance of short-tube restrictors with R22 refrigerant flows, as typical of residential heat pump applications, are presented. The effects of subcooling, distributor geometry, and restrictor diameters are addressed in part. These data, taken with slightly different restrictors and using distributors, partially complement the comprehensive report of Aaron and Domanski (1990). Differences in the restrictors are addressed.
