4083 — Refrigerator/Freezer Energy Use: Measured Values vs. Simulation Results

Original price was: $15.00.Current price is: $7.50.

Conference Proceeding by ASHRAE, 1997

Description

Notes that the EPA Refrigerator Analysis (ERA) Program was used in the engineering analysis performed to support the proposed refrigerator/freezer standards in the USA. Presents a study of the accuracy of the ERA programme for predicting the energy consumption of domestic refrigerators, freezers and refrigerator/freezers which compares the predicted energy consumption with measured energy consumption. Summarises the results, which suggest that ERA predicts the energy use of refrigerator/freezers better than that of freezers and compacts, which it tends to overpredict.
