Description
Apart from numerous assessments for the energy and economic optimization of a ventilating and air-conditioning plant, increased research has been conducted in the recent past to determine a further focal point, the influence of the direction of air flow in a room on the energy demand of a ventilating and air-conditioning plant. This study examines the various forms of air flow patterns and energy aspects, and describes novel systems and air outlets for air flow from below in an upwards direction. Results are based on experimental research as well as on plants already in existence. The savings in operating costs result essentially from a reduction of the required air flow rate.
