KC-84-03-3 — Adapting Building Systems Design to Aquifer Storage of Energy

Original price was: $15.00.Current price is: $7.50.

Conference Proceeding by ASHRAE, 1984

Category:

Description

A large-scale test of aquifer storage of energy for a current office building design is studied to isolate and illustrate the building systems affected by the application of aquifer storage technology. Systems sizing, control, specification, coordination, and construction are all affected by an aquifer storage option for energy supply.

Aquifer storage is a combination of proven technologies, some of which are not usually met within the building design engineer’s experience. A useful energy contribution by aquifer storage technology can only be made when each interface between aquifer system and building system is identified and understood by the building systems design engineer.
