Description
For a successful and sustainable net-zero energy building, a careful match and balance between the supply exergy and demand exergy is essential. Especially in low-exergy buildings, radiant panels offer unique advantages primarily due to their moderate temperature and particularly low-exergy demands. A parametric study is included in the presentation in order to better quantify the benefits of radiant panel systems in view of energy and exergy benefits. A new solar tri-generation system is presented, which acts like a solar PV on the outside and acts as panel cooling in the inside. This system replaces non-load bearing external wall elements and offer substantial energy and carbon emission efficiencies.
