A fundamental challenge in assessing thermal comfort in health-care settings is providing comfortable conditions for the diverse medical services and types of occupants. This article discusses challenges involved in assessing thermal comfort in health-care facilities and illustrates with an example of assessing the thermal comfort of nurses.
