Description
As processing demands increase, data centers generate greater heat loads. Traditional methods may not be suitable for the increased heat loads generated by more powerful data centers. This article explains in-row air handler (IRAH) as a method to intersperse air-handler units within rows containing servers. Without the requirement for constant pressure, in-row designs allow for variable air volume to scale back fan speed with heat load demand.
