NY-91-10-3 — Adaptive Methods for Real-Time Forecasting of Building Electrical Demand

Original price was: $15.00.Current price is: $7.50.

Conference Proceeding by ASHRAE, 1991

Category:

Description

Presents a simple algorithm for forecasting the electrical demand in a building. States the algorithm should also be available for forecasting cooling loads. It has application in dynamic control strategies that use chilled water, ice, or building thermal mass as a thermal storage medium. Parameters of the forecasting model are adjusted over time to adapt to a specific building’s characteristics. States the algorithm is easily programmed and has small computational effort and memory requirements. describes how electrical demand data collected from a grocery store and a restaurant were used to demonstrate the accuracy and robustness of the algorithm.
