Description
Utilities are increasing investments in DSM technologies to reduce dependence on traditional sources of energy supply. In order to ensure the prudence of these investments, regulators are requiring evaluations that entail measurement of in-situ equipment performance. At present there are no widely accepted standard methods (or protocols) for collection and analysis of chiller, fan, or pump field performance data to conduct these evaluations. This research will examine alternative performance measurement methods and develop standardized testing methods for immediate and widespread application for chiller, fan and pump evaluations.
